I saw this the other day and I laughed so hard! Just the other morning I had some awesome… pancakes. Read that however you want. Okay, it really was pancakes, but they were delicious. Hey, you’ve got to take what you can get. 😉
I’m really enjoying this summer. Anytime I’m outside I’m a happy camper. I’ve been taking long walks and bike rides. Enjoying good food at outdoor cafes. Oh, and I found a companion who enjoys (or at least pretends) to enjoy Symphony on the Praire with me. It’s a summertime favorite for me, and I’ve missed going frequently in the past few years. Nothing like music under the stars, and I pack one hell of a good picnic basket. The one thing I have been missing is water, so I have a weekend getaway to Lake Michigan planned soon. Sometimes it feels good to just disappear for the weekend. I’m finally at a place in life where I have the freedom and flexibility to go where I want, when I want, and with whom I want. Sometimes I’m still shocked when I realize that I don’t have to do anything. It’s a liberating feeling.
All this thinking about pancakes has made me hungry. 😀
