Are you someone who makes their bed, or someone who leaves it unmade? I like to make my bed, mostly because it keeps me from crawling back in it (at least most of the time). Also, I like pulling back the covers each night. It’s like unwrapping a present. I remember the first time I stayed at a posh hotel that had turn down service and left chocolates on the pillow. I loved it! Chocolate in bed? Yes, please!
My son is firmly in the camp of no bed making. He showed me an article the other day on how untidy beds may keep us healthier. He went on to say that dust mites can survive in the warm, dry conditions of an unmade bed and, therefore, science backs him and all other non-bed makers. Ugh. I shudder at the thought.
