Thanks to Janet from helping to bring back Thursday 13. I remember doing these on my old blog years and years ago.

The Questions:

1. What’s a nickname only your family calls you?
I don’t really have a nickname. Friends sometimes call me Lis (sounds like lease) but my family lengthens my name instead of shortening it. To most of them, I’m Lisa Ann. I love nicknames/pet names/ terms of endearment. I think they’re sweet.

2. Chocolate or Vanilla?
It depends. Chocolate if we’re talking candy or dessert. Dark chocolate, preferably. But I like vanilla ice cream better than chocolate ice cream. Chocolate ice cream just isn’t chocolate-y enough.

3. What is your favorite quote?
Hmm, it’s hard to pick just one favorite. I’ve always liked “Three things in human life are important. The first is to be kind. The second is to be kind. And the third is to be kind.” -Henry James

4. What’s a song you secretly LOVE to blast & belt out when you’re alone?
Oh, I have lots of guilty pleasures when it comes to music. ABBA is one that comes to mind. When I was little, my big sister and I used to lip sync to ABBA songs and our hairbrushes were the microphones.

5. What’s one of your biggest pet peeves?
Bad/rude drivers.

6. What was the last thing you ate?
Cantaloupe

7. If you could change your name, what would it be and why?
I really like my own name. It fits me. I’ve always liked the name Madeline, but it doesn’t suit me.

8. Favorite pizza topping?
Mushrooms.

9. What did you want to be when you were little?
A history teacher.

10. What’s your favorite flower?
No way can I pick just one! I’m crazy about flowers. Orchids, dahlias, peonies, daisies, stargazer lilies, lilacs, carnations. I could go on and on.

11. Which of the 5 senses do you consider to be your strongest?
Touch. There’s nothing better in this world than touching and being touched by one that you love. Of of my favorite films is Amelie. I get chills from this scene.
