It was Sir Elton’s birthday the yesterday, so my Amazon music was playing some of his albums He’s one of my all-time favorite artists. I saw him in concert a few years ago, and he was amazing. Full of energy and quite gracious, not the diva he’s been portrayed to be. Perhaps he’s mellowed with age. 😆 Although this is one of his lesser-known songs, it’s one of my personal favorites.
My grandmother used to call me Mona Lisa because she loved the Nat King Cole song by the same name. It makes me laugh, because I look nothing like Mona Lisa. However, the song is beautiful. Nat King Cole had a beautiful, smooth voice.
This made me laugh! For me, it’s not just Monday Lisa, it’s every morning Lisa. I am not one of those women who roll out of bed with flawless hair. (Sorry, Beyoncé😉)
